Presley: #2 of IM2

We had a great weekend in Colorado but it ended too soon. Back to reality and chemo for us. It was great to get away from our crazy cancer world even if it was just a few days. Presley's ANC is 800 and her other blood work looks good. Clinic was pretty short today as our regular doctor and nurse was not there. Presley got her check up and then we headed back to infusion where Presley gets chemo. Presley was given Vincristine, and an elevated dose of Methotreaxte (150mg.) This was the highest or last dose Presley got in the Interim Maintenance I (IMI). So we went back to
120 mg last week and 150 mg this time. Presley's body has been slower to recover counts after Delayed Intensification. Before Delayed Intensification her number were much higher than they have been in the past 3 months. I hope and pray her body continues to recover and to get stronger. Presley has 3 more doses of methotreaxte and then we will be done with this phase. This phase is every 10 days but are count dependent each time. So anywhere from 30-50 days we will be done with IM2. Today at clinic we played play-dough, painted and talked to another little girl and her mom. Always so nice to have someone to talk to. Clinic was busy today.
