Our third day on the island was on the south shore!
Here is the road to the south shore going through the tunnel of trees!
This might have been my very favorite treat for the whole trip. Coconut water and the meat and a real mango. I have waited for years for another one of those Hawaiian mango's!
The hike was about 2 miles in and 2 out!
We then cooled off at Popiu Beach. I loved the sand bar you could walk out on!
We then set out on a 3-4 hour sunset cruise to see the Na Pali Coast from Port Allen! Words can not describe this beautiful coastline. It's no wonder it is a popular place for Hollywood to film. We saw dolphins, sea turtles, sea caves, water falls and the massive vertical ups and downs of this side of the island. The only way to see the coast line is by boat. We were served dinner, snacks and endless drinks. Seeing the sunset over the ocean made this night one that we won't forget! When the caption gave us the briefing he said that the seas of the Na Pali coast only sees about 20-30 calm days a year and that today was one of those days! Thumbs up!
To bed early tonight because in the morning we are going to hike that massive Na Pali Coastline!
