this week

Here are a few pictures from this week. We had IV Chemo on Wed (at clinic) and then Thursday, Friday and Saturday at home. We only stayed accessed for one night. Presley hunches over and complains a lot when her dressing (or sticker we call it) is on her port. So we would just access to give chemo and pull the port out. She does port access like a rock star so we gave her the choice.  Brave girl! We have finally had a home health nurse come and work with Presley. Good and Bad! Saturday we waited all day on Crew's birthday party for someone to show up :/ 

The "tubies" can do so much more than just get chemo!  This is the end of the tubes attached to her port!

This is how I really feel about my port staying accessed! 

Getting chemo in the same chair that I nursed her, read to her, rock her... I don't know how I feel about that. 

Thanks Lila and Janae for the special horse purse. This make her week, the timing was perfect!
She carries this with her everywhere!

Getting chemo at home! No sticker because she decided she likes the pokes better than staying accessed!
