Presley: Laguna Beach -Day 2

After a nice night of sleep and no kids screaming for breakfast in the morning I felt refreshed and ready for our first full day at the beach. We all went to Orange Inn. This is the best breakfast in town!! It's on the same block as our hotel. The food was incredible. Homemade muffins, fresh orange juice, homemade french toast, eggs and the best omelets.

After breakfast we headed for the beach. We talked, tanned, laughed and swam in the ocean.

Aunt Lynne and I then hoped on the trolley to Victoria Beach. This is where many of the most expensive house are in Laguna. We found the castle and the tide pools. The tide was still a little high so the tide pools were harder to explore. This was such a beautiful pristine beach with only a few other people around.

Victoria Beach is just south of main beach. It is not that easy to find and the parking is very limited. This is one of Lagunas best hidden secret. The pristine sands of Victoria Beach is one of OC most secluded areas. This tiny beach is guarded by rocky cliffs on both sides and for years and year was only accessible by a narrow concrete stairway down a steep slope. The homes on the cliff above are on large stilts. Hint. If you are traveling to Laguna, only visit when the free trolley is scheduled. I was able to see so much of Laguna because of this.

The 60 food rock like castle was built in 1926. Beyond the beach is a small cave that can only be explored at low tide (we were there at high tide) The cave and castle harbors a storybook mystery know to some locals as the Pirate Tower.

We were also able to see the tide pools and spotted many crabs.

After a little exploring we headed back to our private beach to relax.

For Lunch we had the Banzai Bowl. This was a recommendation and it was so yummy. We enjoyed the walk back to the beach while stopping by all the little shops off PCH. I always enjoy the boutique shops and unique shopping in a beach town.
