Church & Park

Today the sun is shining and are hearts are too. We had a good time at church, meeting our new ward family. Presley loves to get dressed up and I know that getting ready for church felt normal. Presley loves to feel that normal feeling. We live in a new city, new house, the hospital is a new place, Crew is not with us, she can't walk and play like she use to, she knows what it feels like to be scared, she has to take a ton of medications, the park down the street looks different, her bedroom is not the same, she has to wear masks, she has no hair, the nurses are her friends not other children her age, so much in her little world was changed over night.We went to the city park, feed the ducks, soaked in the sun shine and daddy pushed Presley on the swing for a long time. We love and embrace these happy days. Those smiles are worth more than anything.
