Crews Checkup

Can I just say..it's strange to be in a pediatric office with healty kids. I am so use to the pale, bald NG tube kids. I felt so out of place. Sure Crew is healthy but it was a strange feeling today. Anyhow...it's been over 1.5 years since Crew has been to a check up. Slap me! That is way too long. I tried before Prelsey was diagnosed and here we are 1.5 years later. Crew is a healty little guy. Thursday was his first fever ever. I'm so thankful he has been such an easy baby. The past 9 months have been very hard on our little man emotionally. We were worried in August when he turned two and didn't have many words. I know he's a little behind but what isn't a little behind in our lives right now. As with Presley I hope and pray that with time Crews struggles will be erased.
He is such a busy body. The Doc was able to see his gross motor develpment as he was climing on the chair to get to the lights and the door and everything. I think he touched every possible thing in that little space. Wonder what kind of notes when on his "charts" haha!  His check up was pretty quick. His head 70%, height 50% and weight 25%. Seems silly to even write those numbers down. Really...who cares but it was part of todays visit.
He was not happy about the shots! Two shots today. He kept telling me on the way home "no shots". But the sucker quickly changed his cries and he frogot about it quick. When he got home he showed sister his band-aids. You know he need to show off how Brave he is. He will even say "be brave".
Crew is our little sweet boy who is along for the ride. He is determined and knows what he wants. He loves his little blue pup (its getting so old and gross). We wash it weekly and it's just gross. We ordered a new Pup after "old pup" spent the night at The Energy Solutions the night of Disney on Ice. We rescued him but we now have a new up and and old pup. He insists that he carries both of them. Oh Crew! He loves the movie Planes and "Box" (Fox) and the Hound. He loves his little popper gun and being a boy. Hes a great sleeper and will never smile for the camera--will not even look at it :( He's a picky eater and loves "Oot Beer" He can rock his strider bike and we can tell hes going to be passing sister up soon or he already does. He's endured a lot of stress in the past year. Hang on buddy, life is not always this stressful. We love you more than words! Hes got more nicknames than I can list. Crew backa, Crew bean, Chewy, bugs, Bigs..We love you CREW!
