We have had a great week. That first week on steroids was rough...but we are off steroids and just taking our nightly oral chemo! She is doing good so far. Her energy is finally coming back after about 4 months of low energy. #takethatcancer She is a rock star with taking her medications at night. I was a little worried. She stared with liquids and then did pills for a while, then during DI she would chew the pills and of course they were nasty so she would not do the pills and we went back to liquid. We are back to pills and she is quite the show off. She likes to show us how good she can swallow those pills. We even have her doing her antibiotics in pill form and those babies are horse pills. We got her a little organizer for her meds and she was really excited, except that they didn't have a pill organizer in pink! I might have to find a cute customized one for her. It helps to keep track of all her pills. On Thursday she takes 6 chemo pills! She took all six, put them in her mouth and swallowed! Whoo. Thanks Presley, that sure helps cut some of the stress out of all this. Some kids really struggle to take meds and spit it out or won't take it. She is such a jem, she doesn't complain and just does what shes asked to do. An angel really. She is our little angel. I even have a picture to prove that she is our little angel. These pictures are fitting for this time of year. They were taken two years ago. She was the angel for the live nativity! Thanks for letting me share a cherished memory of this sweet girl!
