Children and the Earth (a non-profit) organization that helps so many of our cancer families provided this fun day for us. It was so nice to have a lodge/cabin to warm up in and have lunch! Yummy chili! The kids loved being pulled behind the snowmobile in the "trailer", as Presley called it. She never wanted to get out. The snowmobiles made the sledding fun. It took all the hard work out, and not getting wore out. This is the only way to sled with cancer cuties! Paul and another guy would haul the kids to the top of this long hill, time after time, after time. We took Presley's Strider ski attachment and that was a hit too....Crew loved it and rocked it. We played in the snow for a good 3 hours. The kids were so tired and slept the whole way home.
Presley and Annika one of her cancer buddies. |
These two are so cheesy! The guy pulling them called these two the "extremists" |
I love the expression in the picture...Presley and Crew never wanted this to stop. Just like daddy! |
Presley, Jody and Crew! Thanks so much Jody and Children & The Earth |
Love it so much that your cute little family and so many other families facing similar battles had this fun opportunity to have some normalcy. It does my heart good to see those smiles! I am grateful for Children and the Earth & all the amazing work they do to help families like yours. I am grateful for the opportunities I have had to work along side the great people of this amazing organization, but even more grateful to have families like yours in my life! So sad I missed out on that event...
